representative distillers of Okinawa, Japan. Crafted initially on the island of Ryukyu, this exceptional whisky is
derived from a marriage of 100% Indica rice and black Koji, sourced ingredients specific to the region.
Ryukyu Island is a subtropical archipelago found along the southern part of Japan and is noted as the
birthplace of the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom. First created by the Masahiro Distillery, founded by Shobun Higa,
Kujira has risen to become one of Japan's most elite whisky offerings, spanning 8 generations and over 140
years of tradition. The brand is owned by the esteemed Shin Group Corp, with affiliated distributors
