A true American icon, Jim Beam was first established in 1795 with over seven generations of the Beam
family involved in producing one of the most celebrated brands of whiskey in the world. This legacy whiskey
was originally labeled under the name Old Jake Beam Sour Mash by founder Johannes “Jacob” Beam and is
manufactured in Clermont Kentucky by Beam Suntory, who purchased the brand in 2014. The Beam
business expanded in the early 1940s and eventually grew into the family of brands it is today - including
holding stock in several world-renowned labels such as Booker’s, Basil Hayden’s, Knob Creek, and Baker’s.
Jim Beam is now the No. 1 selling bourbon in the world and has used the same ratio of corn, rye, and barley
