Established on the ruins and decay left by the decommissioned Old Taylor Distillery built in 1887 by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. - Castle & Key began its journey of reclamation in 2014. The distillery's buildings were reconstructed by Will Arvin and his team and renamed Castle & Key in honor of the aesthetic castle-like structure, reviving this once historic monument to its former glory.
