Jeppson's Malört is a brand of distinctive Swedish liqueur derived from wormwood or aniseed. Prized
for its bitter taste - Malört is named after Carl Jeppson, a Swedish-born immigrant who settled in
Chicago and began selling his homemade liqueur door to door in the 1930s. The liqueur was
produced in Chicago until the mid-1970s when the distillery that produced it for Jeppson closed. In
